A new day, another quote! There are so many quotes out that that it’s a little hard to choose one! Well, I’ve got myself a really good one today, and it’s one that never fails to make me go “awww!” This one’s more of a conversation that a quote, but let’s just go with it…
“What I said back there…about thinking I was better at stuff than you…to tell you the truth, Sora…I was jealous of you.”
“What for?”
“I wished I could live life the way you do. Just following my heart.”
“Yeah, well, I’ve got my share of problems, too.”
“Like what?”
“Like…wanting to be like you.”
“Well, there is one advantage to being me…something you could never imitate.”
“Really? What’s that?”
“Having you for a friend.”
“Then I guess…I’m okay the way I am. I’ve got something you could never imitate, too.”

This conversation just hits me right in the heart! Kingdom Hearts is about friendship, among other things, and I’ve never seen anything that portrays friendship like Kingdom Hearts does. Friendship isn’t perfect, just like everything else in this world. Even the best of friends can be jealous of each other, and sometimes they may even drift apart. Sora and Riku grew up together, and their friendship is a strong one. Even though Riku may have lost his way and began doing horrible things, Sora kept going after him to get him back, never giving up on his friend. That’s the kind of friendship I want.
