Hey guys! I can’t believe we’re at the final quote of the week of 2022! With Christmas being over, we don’t have to do a Christmas-themed quote. I wanted this last quote for 2022 to be a special quote, and it took some thinking! However, after some searching, I decided to go with this one. Take a look!
“I walked tall.” – Noctis (Final Fantasy 15)
I’ve probably done this one before, but I realize that I haven’t done a Final Fantasy quote in a while, and this one has always stuck out to me. FF15 is up there with the saddest pieces of fiction I’ve ever seen, and this quote was a nail in the coffin for making it one of the saddest Final Fantasy games. At the beginning of the game, Noctis’ father tells him to “walk tall” upon saying goodbye to him before Noctis left to meet with his fiancée. Noctis struggled a lot throughout the game; he lost his father, his fiancée, and eventually learns that in order to save the world, he must sacrifice himself. But at the end of the game, he can say that he walked tall. I hope we can all say the same for ourselves after this year! No matter how difficult things might seem, walk tall, my friends!
