Weekly Dose of Scripture

Hey guys! I hope you all are having a great week! As you all know, tomorrow is Thanksgiving! I will be spending time with my family as usual, so I’m excited about that! That and the little break from school I’m on! Since it is Thanksgiving, I have chosen a verse to go with the holiday!

Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks thanks and praise His name. For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations. – Psalms 100:4-5

Of course, Thanksgiving is not the only day where we should be reminded of what we are thankful for, and to give thanks in general. Every single day we should praise the Lord, thanking Him for everything we own, our health, our family, etc. Everything we have He has given to us, and he gives things to us every single day. So of course we should thank Him every single day!

What are you thankful for this week? I, for one, am thankful for the trial that I have gone through this month since it brought me closer to the Lord. I have seen with my own eyes that the Lord truly does turn what is meant for evil to good this month. I am also thankful for my family and friends who have stood with me through thick and thin.
