Star Wars Resistance Trailer #1

Hey y’all!  It’s been awhile, hasn’t it?  Well, there is a change coming to this blog, so look out for a new post detailing those changes.  Anyway, let’s get to talking about what this post is actually about, shall we?  As you all know, Lucasfilm is coming out with a new Star Wars animated series entitled Star Wars Resistance.  The anime series will take place a little before The Force Awakens and will tell the story of a young pilot named Kazuda Xiono.  And guess what!  The first trailer has arrived!  Take a look…

 

The animation is definitely different than anything Star Wars has ever done before.  Of course, we get to see new faces as well as some that we’ve already seen before, such as Poe Dameron and BB-8.  Another thing…you can tell that this is a show aimed at the younger generation.  I do not have that much of a problem with that, BUT, I do feel like they need to make a series for the older generation as well.  However, we can’t forget that Clone Wars has been renewed for a seventh season!  Clone Wars has always seemed to me to be a show for older people.  Back to what I was saying, The show is aimed at children.  But wasn’t Star Wars Rebels the same?  Look what that show turned into!  I know some people don’t like rebels, blah blah blah, but I fully enjoyed it!  Of course, it was no Clone Wars, but it was a really good show.  I’m still holding onto hope for Star Wars Resistance, but ever since the Rebels and Clone Wars director stated that he is not involved with Resistance on a day to day basis, that’s getting hard.  After all, Clone Wars and Rebels were great because they were made by a great director.  We will see just what kind of show Star Wars Resistance will turn out to be on October 7, 2018.
